LIP BLUSH

Lip Blush is one of the latest permanent makeup trends that enhances the natural lip shape through symmetry and color — making lips appear fuller. It is a popular treatment that defines the lip contour and adds a natural flush to your lip color. This treatment produces very natural results after healing.

The lip color is adjusted per customer based on the desired results, natural lip color, skin color and undertone.

How long does Lip Blush stay visible?

Lip Blush can last 2 to 3 years depending on skin type and lifestyle. Smoking and sun exposure can speed up the fading process.

Lip Blushing requires two sessions for the desired color and results. During the first session, the main goal is to neutralize the lips so that they are even in color. The color will still reduce between 30 to 50 percent.  During the second session, another layer of color is added for color results and longevity.

What is a Dark Lips Correction?

Dark Lips Correction is a specialized treatment in which cool or dark tones in the lips are corrected and neutralized. When the dark lips have been corrected, a treatment can then be carried out with the desired color. If you have dark lips, you may need a total of 3 treatments for the desired result.

Can you go beyond the lip line with Lip Blush?

Yes, up to 2 mm. The skin on the lips is different from the skin on the face, so the result can be unnatural and unpredictable if we go too far beyond the natural lip line.

Can I get Lip Bush if I have fillers?

Yes, of course! There must be at least 4 weeks between these appointments.

Lip Blush and Cold Sore

This treatment can trigger a cold sore. If you get cold sores more often, take antiviral tablets or a supplement of L-Lysine days before the appointment, on the day itself until the lips are completely healed.  When the virus is active on the treatment day, the treatment cannot be performed. An outbreak can affect the healed results.

Precautionary Instructions

  • Exfoliate your lips at least 1 week before your appointment.

  • Moisturize your lips with Aquaphor or the Laneige Lip Mask every night after exfoliating.

  • No chemical peels, botox or lip filler 4 weeks in advance.

Aftercare instructions

  • Avoid eating spicy, greasy or salty foods.

  • Do not touch or scratch the lips until they are completely healed, as this may result in loss of pigment and/or scarring.

  • Avoid prolonged contact with water, direct sunlight and tanning beds.
